I took this shot of an Aspen tree with the Milky way in the background. I wanted a solitary Aspen tree with it's leaves at the peak of their change so I chose this great tree and unfortunately the next day a big wind storm blew this tree over. I am glad I shot it in it's full glory and memorialized forever.
